i. Trespassing upon Dark land is forbidden without an escort. All visitors must wait at the borders of the land they wish to enter unless given explicit permission by the Empress to enter without supervision.

ii. Darks are permitted to take Dark and Vagrant mates. Darks who take Light mates will be banished from the kingdom.

iii. Sparring can occur anywhere in the kingdom and does not require royal supervision unless requested.

iv. Battles for rank as well as battling for breeding rights are not allowed within Onyx Citadel. Other herds may decide if rank battles are allowed in their own lands.

v. Foals who are born to a Dark parent must reside within the Dark Kingdom until they are one year of age, then they are permitted to go where they wish.

vi. Declarations of war are decided by Empress Nirvana. No Dark shall threaten war or spread rumor of war.

vii. If war is to arise, all equine who are placed in the ranks of the Dark Army shall step forth to battle or else be exiled from the kingdom.

viii. All who are exiled from the kingdom are permitted to return after one year to plead their case to Empress Nirvana for re-entry.

ix. Those who wish to join any herd within the Dark Kingdom must be accepted by the lead of the herd they wish to join, or that herd's designated record keeper.

x. Any equine who resides within the Dark Kingdom is permitted to roam about Terra Sollus as they please, and can pass from Dark land to Dark land without restriction.
